This 3rd, revised edition of the earthen building regulations takes into account the current state of development of earthen building since it was first published 10 years ago. In the meantime, this edition has also been included in the model list of technical building regulations of the German Institute for Building Technology in Berlin and thus recommended to the federal states for introduction by the building authorities. In the meantime, this has been done in most of the federal states. The individual earth building materials (such as rammed earth, Weller clay, straw clay) are explained in a clear and easy-to-understand manner, and instructions for testing and construction with the building material are given, thus enabling proper application and execution.
